Condor Softball Wins in a Slugfest

The high-octane OC Softball offense produced 22 hits and 23 runs to outlast Glendale College, 23-16 on Thursday afternoon.

"It reminded me of a three-hour football game," remarked head coach Erin Lawley after the vicotry.  The win put Oxnard at 14-16-1 overall and 7-6 in WSC play, good enough for fourth place in the competitive North Division.

Oxnard will be off until next Tuesday when they host cross-county Ventura College at 2:30, in the Nest.
