Condors Claim First Victory of the Season With 2–1 Win Over Glendale
Oxnard, Calif. – The Oxnard College women’s soccer team notched its first win of the 2025 season with a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Glendale College on Tuesday afternoon at Condor Field.

Anahi Nieto scored first for Oxnard, finishing off a precise assist from Andrea Gonzales. Moments later, Jennifer Rojas delivered the game-winner with a composed strike set up by Xiomara Pantoja, giving the Condors a 2–0 advantage they would hold until Glendale scored later in the second half.
The Condors' defense, anchored by goalkeeper Jazmin Soto, shut down Glendale's attack after the early goal. Soto tallied three saves and kept the visitors scoreless in the second half, while defenders Belen Eulloqui, Carolina Gomez, and Lismairi Fernandez helped preserve the lead.
With the win, Oxnard improves to 1-2 on the young season.
The Condors return to action on Friday when they travel to Victor Valley College for a 6:30 kickoff against the Rams.
