Condors Explode for 15 Runs, Win Second Straight Game Over West LA

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Oxnard College baseball team picked up momentum on Wednesday, powering past West Los Angeles College, 15–7, to secure its second consecutive victory.

The Condors used a relentless offensive attack and a dominant performance out of the bullpen to pull away after a tightly contested middle innings battle.

Oxnard jumped out early, plating three runs in the second inning, highlighted by Brayden Ferguson's RBI single and aggressive baserunning that capitalized on West LA miscues. The Condors added another in the third on a Josh Nichter RBI double, taking a 4-0 lead.

West LA responded with a four-run fourth inning and three more in the fifth to take a 7-5 lead, putting pressure on Oxnard heading into the late innings.

Oxnard erupted for seven runs in the sixth inning, reclaiming control of the game. Key contributions included:
