Men’s Soccer Dominates LA Pierce, 9-2

The Oxnard College men's soccer team delivered a commanding performance against LA Pierce, securing a 9-2 victory in their quest for the Western State Conference (WSC) crown. With this win, Oxnard improves its record to 9-0-4 overall and 2-0-2 in conference play, solidifying their position as a title contender.

The match saw the Condors explode offensively in the first half, scoring six goals. LA Pierce initially took the lead with a goal from Gilberto Chavez in the 7th minute, but Oxnard quickly answered back, with Alexis Cuevas converting a PK.

The scoring frenzy continued as Michael Sauceda, Tyler Nagel (https://www.instagram.com/p/DBuuG3bPl9u/), and Nathan Becerra showcased their scoring prowess. Nagel was particularly impressive, scoring three goals within a 22-minute span, while Becerra contributed two goals of his own.

In the second half, the Condors maintained their momentum, adding three more goals to their tally, with Jeremy Fain and Miguel Cabrera finding the net before LA Pierce managed a consolation goal from Jesse Cano in the final minute.
