The Oxnard College men’s soccer team capped off a terrific regular season with a dominant 4–0 win over LA Pierce College on Tuesday afternoon, securing the Western State Conference (WSC) North Championship and solidifying their position among the top teams in California.

With the victory, the Condors improve to 11–2–3 overall and 6–0–2 in conference play, finishing undefeated in WSC competition and earning the title since 2022. Oxnard now sits third in the 3C2A PowerPoint rankings, positioning them for a first-round bye in the upcoming 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs, set to begin November 19th.
Match Recap
The Condors struck early when Emmanuel Yarjah opened the scoring in the 7th minute, assisted by Javier Sanchez. From there, Oxnard maintained full control, outshooting Pierce 5–0 and holding possession for most of the match.
Star forward Ernesto Rodriguez delivered a spectacular second half, netting a hat trick with goals in the 48th, 55th, and 63rd minutes — two of them unassisted — to put the game out of reach. Brayan Garibay added an assist, while goalkeeper Jesus Gonzalez recorded the clean sheet without facing a single shot on goal.

Looking Ahead
The Condors will await their official playoff seeding, but with their strong ranking and conference title, Oxnard is expected to host the second round of the 3C2A Southern California Regional Playoffs on Friday, November 22.
